This current clamp meter is designed for current measurement in electrical testing, combining a digital multimeter with a clamping current sensor. The clamp design allows it to fit around a wire at any point to sense AC current enabling readings to be taken without touching the wire, which is both more convenient and safer than other methods. True RMS (Root Mean Square) reading compensates for interfering electronic loads or distorted sinewaves to give an accurate reading.
