Working Principle :
The hydrocyclone operates on the principles of centrifugal force and vortex motion. The process works as follows:
- Feed : A mixture of liquid and solid particles is fed under high pressure into the hydrocyclone through an inlet on the side. This mixture begins to spin rapidly within the hydrocyclone, creating a vortex.
- Centrifugal Force : As the mixture spins within the conical structure of the hydrocyclone, centrifugal force is generated. This force pushes denser, larger particles outward toward the hydrocyclone walls, while lighter, finer particles remain in the center.
- Separation : Under the influence of centrifugal force, the heavier and larger particles are directed to the bottom outlet, known as the spigot. These particles are typically coarser and denser materials. The lighter and finer particles, on the other hand, concentrate at the center and exit through the upper outlet, known as the vortex finder.
- Result : This process results in the material being split into two streams: dense and coarse particles at the bottom and fine and light particles at the top. The separation may vary depending on particle size or density.

- Easy Access and Control : A mobile platform with wheels is included for easy access and control of the cyclones, making operations more manageable and efficient for operators.
- Powerful Electric Motor : A 7.5 HP, 2800 RPM, 380 V, 3-phase, 50 Hz motor powers the centrifugal pump, ensuring efficient liquid handling for demanding applications.
