Product Overview
The Laboratory Multi-Gravity Separator is a high-performance mineral separation machine designed to separate fine particles based on differences in specific gravity.
It operates on principles similar to a shaking table but enhances efficiency by using a rotating conical drum, which generates higher centrifugal force. This allows separation of extremely fine particles within a thin liquid film.
The machine is capable of delivering performance comparable to larger industrial systems when operated under similar conditions.
INSTALLATION & SETUP :
Placement
- Install on a level concrete floor
- Secure using anchor bolts
Handling :
- Lift using forklift from main frame
- Can be moved on flat surfaces using wheels
Connections :
- Feed pipe connection (~12.5 mm hose)
- Wash water connection via rotameter
- Electrical supply via rear isolator (by qualified electrician)
WORKING PRINCIPLE
- The machine consists of a rotating tapered drum combined with a shaking motion.
Process Flow:
- Feed slurry enters the drum
- Rotation creates centrifugal force
- Shaking motion adds shearing effect
- Dense particles move toward drum wall
- Scrapers push heavy particles ? concentrate outlet
- Lighter particles flow with water ? tailings outlet

TESTING PROCEDURE (SIMPLIFIED)

- Wash water: ~3 L/min
- Feed continuously (1–2 L/min)
- Wait for stable operation (2–5 min)
Collect :

MAINTENANCE
