WORKING PRINCIPLE
- The concentrator operates using centrifugal force to separate particles based on density.
Process Flow :
- Slurry feed enters the rotating bowl
- High-speed rotation creates strong centrifugal force
Heavy particles :
- Move outward and get trapped in the bowl
Light particles :
- Flow outward and are discharged as tailings
- Concentrated heavy minerals remain inside the bowl
Key Concept :
- Separation efficiency is significantly higher than conventional gravity methods due to high G-force (up to 200 times gravity
