Product Overview
Modular mid-sized propane-fired kiln designed specifically for cupellation processes after fire assay.
Used to separate precious metals from lead prill.
Not suitable for melting or smelting operations.

Working Principle :
- A lead prill obtained from fire assay is placed in a cupel
- Heating causes lead to oxidize into litharge, which is absorbed by the cupel
- Remaining material forms a bead of precious metal
Operation :
- Place kiln on fireproof surface
- Insert and ignite propane torches
- Preheat kiln and cupel
- Place lead prill in cupel and heat
- Remove lid to create oxidizing environment
- Continue heating until lead is absorbed
- Allow bead to form and cool
